Nine Elmira High School seniors have committed to playing their respective sports at the college level.
The school held a signing day ceremony May 29 in the Main Gym to celebrate their achievements.
Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Joel Smith recognized each student athlete individually, noting their sport and their college of choice.
The athletes are:
- Quinton Buckland, football, College of the Redwoods
- Brenden Davis, baseball, Corban University
- Brett Highburger, football, Western Oregon University
- June Highburger, wrestling, Eastern Oregon University
- Ailea Hogue, soccer, Clarke University
- Quinton Marshall, baseball, Corban University
- Summer McKeen, wrestling, Newberry College
- Jonathan Rhodes, baseball, College of the Redwoods
- Austyn Woolcott, track and field, Bushnell University
