This week all the juniors started their state testing this is taking place in their English classes. They are being tested on their English Language Arts, math and science skills.
The State of Oregon sets up the questions and answers for the standardized test that all juniors take in the State of Oregon.
Principal Cydney Vandercar has chosen to provide the students with snacks and water for them while they are taking state testing.
Oregon has made it not required for students to pass the test to be able to graduate this year.
English teacher Michelle Nelson spoke with Falcon News about why it is still important for students to take the test seriously.
“It’s important for students to take the test seriously and do their best to give us the most accurate data as possible,” said Mrs. Nelson.
