Celebrate this upcoming holiday with an egg hunt!
Visit the Veneta Elementary School for the annual Veneta Easter Egg Hunt on March 30.
The event, which is organized and sponsored by the Veneta Parks Board and the Fern Ridge Kiwanis Club, is expected to draw 200 to 400 children and will begin at 10 a.m.
Springfield will also be celebrating their annual egg hunting tradition, the MEGGA Hunt.
It will be hosted at Splash! at Lively Park on March 30 and will have three staggered start times to reduce crowd sizes, beginning at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m.
Fun and games will be available for all ages. There is a chance for families to hunt together as a group, too.
Registration is open and preregistration is required for anyone 2 or older who will be participating in the hunt. Only people participating need to register and there is no registration on the day of. Prices will be $6 in district or $8 out of district.
Attendees can purchase MEGGA Backyard Kits for $25, which includes 50 eggs and other surprises. Concessions for the event will include Dawn’s Most Wanted Espresso, with hot drinks and snacks.
