Elmira High School senior Brett Highburger’s 2010 Subaru Forester has been chosen as February’s car of the month.
Highburger’s Subaru was his mom’s until he started driving and got his license.
He said his favorite part about his car is “how it gets rowdy” and “how it goes fast.”
He claims the only modifications he made to the car was a huge dent in the side of the car.
Highburger has a name for his car: Pearl. He found this name from junior Kyler Colwell, who brought up the idea and he thought it was a good name.
Highburger said he thinks his car is “pretty dope.”
He shares his Subaru with his sister, senior June Highburger, and describes how she puts gas in it, so there are no complaints from him.
