The time is nearing for seniors to start thinking about post high-school plans, and Elmira High School seeks to help students begin preparing.
EHS counselors are hosting a senior financial aid night on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The presentation will be held in the EHS library.
Nomi Pearce, an access specialist with Aspire, will be speaking at the event to students and their parents.
Pearce’s presentation will be on “Finding Funds.” She will be informing students about helpful and important financial tips for post-high school plans.
She will also speak about paths in community colleges, four-year colleges, or apprenticeship and trade programs that students can look for after high school.
For any questions, students can reach out to counselors Brittany McMillan (students with last names A-K) at bmcmillan@fernridge.k12.or.us and Court Wirth (last names L-Z) at cwirth@fernridge.k12.or.us.
