Soak up the annular solar eclipse with breakfast Saturday at The Emporium in Veneta.
Breakfast, hot cocoa and coffee, plus mimosas for anyone age 21 or older, will be served. The event also will include live music during the eclipse.
The VIP package costs $25 per person and includes breakfast, beverages, and commemorative gifts.
The partial eclipse will officially begin at 8:05 a.m. Saturday on the Oregon Coast, and the full eclipse will begin a little more than an hour later, hitting the coast at 9:16 a.m. and reaching the eastern border of Oregon by about 9:22 a.m.
Attendees must bring their own eclipse glasses unless planning to purchase some at the event.
The event is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Emporium is located at 87980 Territorial Hwy. in Veneta.
