The class of 2024 gathered together on Wednesday to continue the annual EHS tradition of painting their names on the rock in front of the school.
Many of the seniors have been looking forward to signing their names on the rock and are glad they finally got their opportunity.
“I thought it was really exciting because I have been looking forward to it for so long,” senior Katie Geiger told Falcon News. “I thought to myself, ‘Wow, we’re really seniors. This is getting really real.'”
Senior Ezra Collins said it was a fun time.
“There were a lot of people and it was really crowded, but in the end it all turned out really well and I had a good time,” she said.
There was some difficulty fitting everyone’s name on the rock, frustrating some seniors.
“I was happy about painting the rock, but there was not enough room for everyone’s name,” senior Malakai Agnes said. “My name had to be painted very small, which was not ideal.”
Some seniors didn’t have the best experience, but most of them had a good time and are happy with how it turned out.
Jani Patrick, a senior parent, donated her time to help paint the rock. The senior class was very thankful for her and her willingness to help the community.
