The Elmira boys soccer team faced Central Linn and fell short with a loss 0-1 on Thursday. The Falcons’ overall record is now 2-3-4.
Senior goalie Brenden Davis had 15 saves during the game.
Senior Austyn Woolcott said the team “played a little frantically.”
He added that the team tried to get the game back under control.
“We tried to keep pace and just tried to keep calm in everything like that,” he commented.
Senior David Bay said the Falcons should have been able to pull out a win.
“We should’ve won that, our team just didn’t play to our best I feel,” Bay told Falcon News. “But just because there is a goalie doesn’t mean you can’t score a goal.”
The Falcons face Sisters next at home on Tuesday. The game will begin at 4:30.
