This Halloween there is a haunted maze in Elmira. Bring your family and friends to start off the spooky season with a scare.
Property owner David Mann says the location has a real haunted history, claiming that it used to be an old cemetery.
“We found hundreds of bones and signs of several people being murdered here as far back as the mid 1800s,” Mann told Falcon News via email.
The haunted maze will take place from Oct. 1-31 and possibly one week into November for those who missed out. The address is 23071 West Sheffler Road.
On weekdays, the haunted maze will be open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on weekends from noon to 11 p.m.
There will be a nature walk during the day for kids to take photos or carve pumpkins.
The haunted maze is going to be in deep, thick woods. Mann suggests that all guests wear closed-toed shoes.
There will be food and drinks offered, such as hot dogs, coffee, soda, water and hot cocoa.
The entrance fee is $20 per person, but kids under 10 enter for only $10.
