The Fern Ridge Library is holding a teen art show as part of the summer reading program.
“Creating art should be fun and make you happy,” says the flyer.
This event is for ages 13-19.
There are some rules for this art show, which are:
- You may create your art in any medium you would like.
- The theme is “Find Your Voice”, which can be interpreted in any way you would like.
- The art MUST be appropriate for all ages, which means: nudity, obscenity, alcohol and drugs, politics, or religion cannot be included.
- The art must be submitted on paper between the sizes of 5×7 and 9×12.
- You will submit your art to the circulation desk and it must be turned in by July 3 to be included. You should also include your information on the back so it can be picked up by August 4 and 5.
The teen art will be displayed through July, with the adult art show following in August.
There will also be an art show for the kids (ages 5-12) that will be displayed through June.
