This week, May 15-21, is Dementia Action Week with the theme of “Dementia Diagnosis.”
Organizations across the United Kingdom are encouraging people to “act on dementia.” Throughout the week each year, the Alzheimer’s Society has reported seeing a steep increase in class to tis Dementia support line
National Today reported that dementia doesn’t only affect people over age 65. It also affects people in their 30s, 40s and 50s. People with dementia sometimes feel cut off from the community, lose friends and face the condition alone.
