Halloween is just around the corner, and there are plenty of events and activities around Lane County this month.
- Strangest Things Haunted Farm: Haunted farm with interactive mazes and rooms. One of the scariest haunts on the West Coast. Themed around the most popular horror films of the last 30 years. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays at Johnson Farm, 89719 Sprague Road in Eugene.
- CarnEvil 2022: All-ages event. Games, prizes, interactive haunted maze. Oct. 22-30. 87230 Central Road in Eugene.
- Halloween Carnival: Join an afternoon of Spooktacular fun at the Halloween Carnival. Carnival games, crafts, and lots of candy will all be a part of this indoor family-friendly event. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Bob Keefer Center, 250 S. 32nd St. in Springfield.
- Halloween Downtown: Get your costumes ready and come downtown with your family and friends for a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration. Noon Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Broadway Commerce Center, 44 W. Broadway in Eugene.
- Trunk-or-Treat: Kids and families are invited to wear their best Halloween costumes and bring candy buckets for a trunk-or-treat. Families will walk through the Springfield Faith Center parking lot. 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Springfield Faith Center, 600 Hayden Bridge Way.
- Ghostly Golf: Celebrate Halloween with fun, safe, family-friendly activities in Springfield with Ghostly Golf. Gather your favorite fearsome foursome for 18 holes. Oct. 21-22 at Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park, 4006 Franklin Blvd. in Eugene.
- Haunted Hayride: Hop on a hayride to explore the haunted trails of Dorris Ranch from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at Dorris Ranch, 205 Dorris St. in Springfield.
- Halloween Car Meet/Costume Contest: 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2300 Leo Harris Pkwy. in Eugene.
- Alvadore Halloween Carnival: Winter carnivals, street fairs and family-friendly carnivals in Junction City. Discover the best of carnival events until Nov. 1 at 90825 Alvadore Road, Junction City.
- Haunted slaughter house: 10/18/22 – 10/31/22 5pm- 11pm, 7 days a week. The admission fees for adults are $17, students are $15, 10 and under are $10. 23071 W. Sheffler rd, Elmira OR.
