Senior Shelby Sheppeard’s dog, Hudson, loves everyone he meets. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and is three and a half months old.
With his bow tie and spunky attitude, he could win over the hearts of anyone he meets! He loves to play and run (especially on the beach). He never leaves Sheppeard’s side unless it’s time for school. His current favorite toy is a stuffed fish that is the same size as him.
“I have never met a dog that talks more than Hudson,” Sheppeard said.
He does not like the word “no” and tends to argue if he is in trouble.
The best memory Sheppeard has with her companion is taking him to the coast.
“He ran around for hours and finally got so tired, he decided to lay on some stranger’s blanket,” she said. “Luckily, she was really nice and just pet Hudson before he caught his second wind and ran around some more.”
Hudson is also on his way to becoming a service dog. Sheppeard trains him every day (taking a day off every now and again) to make sure Hudson is on his best behavior. He knows sit, down, up, shake, roll over, and a few other special tricks.
Sheppeard and her “partner in crime” are the best duo!
