Elmira High School students attended their first dance of the school year on Dec. 17. Snowcoming combined Homecoming, which was cancelled because of COVID-19, and the winter formal.
There was dancing, a snack bar and a place for taking photos, and seating outside where people could eat.
About 200 students attended the dance. Some danced, others didn’t, but everyone seemed to be having fun. The DJ area was decorated with snowflakes, and it looked great!
Student leadership announced the Snowcoming court during the morning announcements on the day of the dance.
The princesses were:
- Samantha Zicchino (9th)
- Iris Frome (10th)
- Rachel Matthews (11th)
- Mackenzie Corbett (11th)
