Elmira High School is entering their annual Winter Spirit Week to wrap up the end of the year.

Running from Dec. 16-20, the students are encouraged to dress up to the according themes.

Monday kicks off with “Winter Morning,” in which students should wear pajamas and are allowed to bring in their cozy blankets.

Tuesday will be “Ugly Sweater Day,” where students are expected to wear their ugliest holiday sweaters.

Wednesday continues with “Too Cool For School.” Students should wear snow pants, gloves, goggles, and any snow gear they might have.

Students are then given the opportunity to wear their favorite holiday hats, socks, and festive accessories for “Holiday Accessories Day” on Thursday.

Wrapping up the week, and year, Friday features a “Red vs. Green Day.” Students need to pick a side and get fully dressed up in red or green.

Friday will also feature a winter sports assembly to recognize athletes and clubs, and have a red versus green competition.
